I've been making websites for several years as it is my professional occupation. One of the biggest reasons I make them is because some individual (or some group of people) that I think are talented aren't getting the recognition and promotion they deserve. I see fansites as a great promotional and informational tool for fans and media alike. That is what SwimStars.org to do back in 2004. Every single swimmer featured on this site has an amazing talent, wonderful spirit, and admirable work ethic that I admire, so this is for them. I only hope that they get to see this website and know what a gift they're giving to swim fans worldwide.

| Who runs this website? |
Just me, Suz. I've been informed that there is confusion as to who is holding the reigns at SwimStars.org, so to speak. So, at the request of a few of the swim stars' families, I created this new section. I do not do everything alone here, though! The "Swim Aids" help me, tremendously, at meets with additional picture taking and video. They also post news and other updates on the rare occasion that I have no internet access. But the creation, ownership, maintenance, and daily operation of this website is a Suzdawg Production. This is the third design of SwimStars.org. I gave the layout a makeover so not only does it load faster, it also looks more professional. I've received some great feedback on previous designs and visitors love the rotating picture, so I've decided to keep it for yet another version of the site. And as before, it is a shot of one of the swim stars that I took at one of the meets I've attended! I've also kept the random link to one of the network sites, that appears on each page. I just thought it would be a neat way to showcase each of the swimmers I support here on the site; the list grows more and more with each passing year!

This website is semi-unofficial. While I do know quite a few of the swim stars, only 1 of the SwimStars.org network sites are classified, legally, as an official website (MeganRomano.com). Contact is maintained with management representatives, family members, and the swimmers themselves as their busy schedules allow. This website is also approved by USA Swimming as a legitimate media outlet. No copyright infringement is intended and all material is copyrighted to their respective owners. If you have any issue with content on this website, please contact me (below). If you are submitting images to this site, please be sure to include where you obtained the images and the copyright information.

If any of them contacted me and asked me to create and maintain their official website, I'd be more than honored. But for legal reasons, I can't just "make" one and call it official. However, if any swim stars are reading this and need my services, drop me a message ;)
Why isn't ____ featured on this site?
Most likely because I didn't get enough fan requests on MrPhelps.com when I was contemplating this project back in late 2004. That doesn't mean I won't add more swim stars in the future! Since its creation in 2004, 11 talented swimmers have been added to the roster of SwimStars.org with more on the way! If you'd like to request that I add a certain swimmer, feel free to fill out the form below. I love visitor feedback when it comes to this matter!
Why is all the Michael Phelps news the same as at MrPhelps.com?
Well, I own and run MrPhelps.com as well, so it's easier for me to copy and paste news that I post in one place at the other. Also, all Michael pics that are posted on MrPhelps.com will be linked to from here. I don't see the need to duplicate a nearly 10,000 image gallery, do you?
