Can a sista catch a break?
It’s gonna be a while before I am able to post any more photo updates from Santa Clara…
During the flight out to Cali for the Santa Clara meet, my external hard drive was severely damaged. I did not realize this until I was transferring the Santa Clara pics from kiwi’s computer to my drive. The end result was the corruption of the disk and the loss of ALL of the swimming photos I’ve taken at meets over the past year. Yes, all of them. Words cannot express how upset I am right now.
In any case, I called tech support, they came to my house to check out the situation and were unable to recover the pics. So I am currently out the door to purchase a new external hard drive and shortly thereafter having another panic attack; my 5th of the day.
All that is left of my pics from the past year of my swim travels are now the Santa Clara pics, which are currently on kiwi’s computer. So until she is able to burn them to DVD and mail them to me, there will be no photo updates from Santa Clara. Sorry guys! It seems as if the computer gods are against me this year, as my desktop computer, DVD burner, and printer have all died within the past month. Thank goodness I happen to own a laptop as well.

Suz, I am soo soo sorry that happend. I can’t even give you any good news so I will give you the bad so it hurts while you are hurting. I lost all the prelim pics from Sunday and Santa Clara. My camera doied during the upload and they were all lost and that excellent picture of Peter Vanderkaay talking ot you and Kristian is lost. I am so sorry. I have the teeny thumbnails from the day but that is all. I almost wish I didnt have any of it so I don’t know what I am missing.
